Rupert's Pet Sitting · The Hills District

The Sitting Paw of Fame.

The houseguests, immortalised.

These are the dogs (and the occasional cat) who have had me to stay. Each one kept their own routine, their own bed, and their own firmly held opinions. I merely kept the treats coming and the photographs honest.

A sleek black cat resting on a grey pet bed on a wooden floor
Mowgli. A cat in my house. We have reached an understanding.
A reddish-brown Irish Setter puppy lying down holding a long chew treat
Milo. A Setter puppy who arrived with a treat and refused to share. Sensible.
A small fluffy Pomeranian holding a white chew toy bone in its mouth on a wooden floor
Sadie. A Pomeranian who brought her own bone. We respected the arrangement.
An older white and tan Jack Russell looking up at the camera on a tiled floor
Fuhti. A lady of advancing years. Dined first. Photographed after.
A cream Labradoodle sitting on paving stones, tongue out
Teddy. A cream Spoodle who found the one sunny patch and would not be moved.
A small grey wire-haired dog looking up with its tongue out on a stone tiled floor
Gus. A Toy Poodle with enormous opinions. We got along.
A longhair cat with a white face and tabby patches, tongue slightly out, on a beige carpet
Rory. A cat who blepped. I pretended not to notice. We are all allowed our dignity.
A tabby cat with white chest and paws standing on a grey carpeted cat tree
Lexi. A tabby who claimed the highest tier. I confirmed the claim was valid.
A small charcoal-gray toy poodle with tan paws resting its head on a striped cushion, wearing a rainbow collar
Bettie. A toy poodle in a rainbow collar. Crossed her paws like a lady at luncheon. I approved.
A golden doodle resting its head on a donut-style dog bed, looking at the camera with a decorative bow in its fur
Scout. A Groodle on a donut bed. Wore a bow. Maintained eye contact throughout. Charisma noted.

Shall we?

Tell my human about your dog and she'll arrange the rest. I shall take the credit.
